En este marco, y en línea con nuestras decisiones tomadas en Curitiba, nos comprometemos también a continuar la elaboración y la negociación de un régimen internacional sobre acceso a los recursos genéticos y la distribución de beneficios, a fin de instrumentar efectivamente los tres objetivos del CDB, a saber: la conservación de la biodiversidad, el uso sostenible de sus componentes, y la distribución justa y equitativa de los beneficios derivados de la utilización de los recursos genéticos, así como a instrumentar el Programa de Trabajo del CDB sobre Áreas Protegidas.
In this framework and in line with our decisions in Curitiba, we are also committed to continuing the elaboration and negotiation of an international regime on access to genetic resources and benefit sharing with the aim of effectively implementing the three objectives of the CBD, namely the conservation of biodiversity, the sustainable use of its components, and the fair and equitable sharing of benefits arising out of the utilisation of genetic resources, and to implementing the CBD's Programme of Work on Protected Areas.
