La zona de procedencia de la leche, de transformación y de maduración del queso «Toma Piemontese» comprende el territorio administrativo de las provincias de Novara, Vercelli, Biella, Turín, Cuneo, Verbania Cusio Ossola, así como los municipios de Monastero Bormida, Roccaverano, Mombaldone, Olmo Gentile y Serole de la provincia de Asti, y de Acqui Terme, Terzo, Bistagno, Ponti y Denice en la provincia de Alessandria.
