Considerando que el Convenio sobre el trabajo marítimo, 2006, de la OIT (en lo sucesivo, «el Convenio») exige a todos los miembros que verifiquen que las disposiciones de sus leyes y reglamentos respetan, en el contexto del Convenio, los derechos fundamentales relativos a la libertad de asociación y la libertad sindical y el reconocimiento efectivo del derecho a la negociación colectiva, la eliminación de todas las formas de trabajo forzoso u obligatorio, la abolición efectiva del trabajo infantil y la eliminación de la discriminación en el empleo y la ocupación;
Whereas the ILO Maritime Labour Convention, 2006 (hereinafter referred to as the Convention) requires each Member to satisfy itself that the provisions of its laws and regulations respect, in the context of the Convention, the fundamental rights to freedom of association and the effective recognition of the right to collective bargaining, the elimination of all forms of forced or compulsory labour, the effective abolition of child labour and the elimination of discrimination in respect of employment and occupation;
